Vintage Conway Stewart 60 Fountain Pen
This attractive mid-1950s pen is in the black with gold coloured trim variant and made of celluloid. It uses a lever-filler system, and has been fitted with a new rubber sac.
This model is large for a vintage pen, measuring almost 13 cms long when capped, and having enough girth to have a presence in the hand when writing.
Key Features:
Imprints: "Conway Stewart 60" with "Made in England".
Nib: Large, firm, marked “DURO” and "60," made of 14k gold, with a standard feed. Probably medium width.
Clip: Gold-filled with the iconic CS logo at the top; sometimes a diamond shape, in good condition.
Cap Stud: Correct peaked aluminum stud on the cap and matching stud on the barrel end.
Condition: In good vintage working condition, the broad cap band is tight to the barrel, lever has the “CS” branded tab present and operates. There are signs of us, including micro scratches and a tiny blemish at the end of the barrel and on the cap (pictured)..
