The Waterman Exception is fairly weighty, and has a pleasing square shape to the barrel and cap, which aligns nicely. The section is shaped, but more rounded for ease of use.
The pen is black, with chrome trim, and branded Waterman twice on the band on the barrel beneath the cap.
The cap is a slip on cap, which goes on firmly and holds tight when fitted.
