This Visconti Van Gogh fountain pen Pollard Willows model has a wonderful autumnal colour way of golden browns oranges and yellow swirls.
Made of resin, with a metal section, and delicately faceted on barrel and cap it is in excellent condition. It is a cartridge converter filler, and is supplied with a Visconti converter for use with bottled ink.
The nib is a smooth steel medium, imprinted with Visconti and “M”. Good ink flow, and the nib writes on the finer side of medium I would say.
The clip is the signature Visconti crescent shape, sits tight to the cap and functions properly. it has the Visconti imprint upon it.
The pen is supplied in the original box, which has sadly not faired as well as the pen, the foam interior becoming rather flaky, and also with a Visconti Van Gogh leaflet.
