Thesis one of my favourite fountain pens of all time! It is the Sheaffer Targa, in sterling silver, with the added bonus of a Sheaffer Targa Ballpoint pen also in .925 silver!
This pen is very elegant. The silver is in the “pinstripe” design, with the iconic Sheaffer white dot on both clips. The fountain pen has chrome trim, and the Ball Point has gold coloured trim. Both pens are in good condition for their age!
The fountain pen has a slip on cap, which sits firmly in place, and is a cartridge converter filler.
The fountain pen has the inlaid nib, which is 14k medium, and slightly softer than you would expect. The Ball Point has a refill in place but I suspect that will need replacing before long.
The Ball Point still has the manufacture’s sticker on it!
