This is a Sheaffer Legacy 2 fountain pen and ballpoint pen set, presented in the original Sheaffer box with paperwork. This model is discontinued. Legacy range of pens is on the larger size.
Thanks to the extremely helpful website at www.sheaffertarga.com I understand this to be the sandblasted palladium plated finish with gold coloured trim - a model 9038 to be precise, launched in 2003. The gold trim and section show some age related minor wear, but the pens are in good condition.
The ball point pen is fitted with a refill but you are likely to need a new one - it is untested.
The fountain pen is fitted with a converter for use with bottled ink, but also takes Sheaffer cartridges.
The fountain pen has a smooth writing 18k medium nib (in my view, the nib size isn’t marked that I can see), in the iconic Sheaffer “inlaid” design.
