This is an authentic, used, vintage Montblanc 149 fountain pen.
The pen has plastic threads for the piston filling ink mechanism, and a (to me slightly scratchy) extra fine 14c trim-colour nib, as well as a solid ebonite feed. In my opinion this makes it quite a rare combination likely produced between 1969 and 1972.
The ink window has stripes present. There is some blue ink staining to the ink window, the pen has been flushed. The piston filling mechanism works as it should.
Given the pen is likely over 50 years old, it is in reasonable condition, with no cracks or missing parts. There are micro scratches present on the pen which are particularly visible in bright light and some wear on the clip.
