Pilot Capless Vanishing Point Fountain Pen Limited Edition - 2006 Ice Blue

£275.00

This Pilot Capless fountain pen is a limited edition ice blue model from 2006, a pen which if the internet is to be believed was made in a run of 1235 pens only. Whilst it is not numbered (Pilot reportedly only added numbers from the 2007 edition onwards) it does have the “Pilot Limited Edition Japan” wording printed on the barrel.

The nib extends and retracts as it should.

The colour is very attractive - a very light blue metallic with chrome trim, and it comes in the correct hard box, which does show some wear.

This pen is fitted with a smooth broad 18k nib (as confirmed by the imprints) which may not be original to the pen. it has a large amount of tipping. The blue feed has darkened with agent a hint of blue is visible in light.

The pen is fitted with a converter for use with bottled ink.

Overall a rare pen, in a great colour.
