This impressively large and hefty Pelikan mechanical pencil is definitely a top of the range item!
It has a black barrel, gold coloured trim (including the traditional Pelikan's beak clip) and a green and black striated cap. The cap finial is decorated with the trademark Pelikan 2 chick logo. This logo and the W. Germany stamp around the cap band dates the pencil to 1987-1992.
The pencil has lead in it (I read that it is 0.7mm in width) and the twist cap mechanism works properly to extend and retract the lead.
In good vintage condition.
