The Pelikan Blue Ocean is Pelikan’s first numbered limited edition, produced in 1993 (also known as M810) demonstrator fountain pen, known for its deep, transparent blue resin barrel showcasing internal parts, gold-plated trim, an old-style two-chick Pelikan logo, and a unique compass rose medallion on the piston knob.

Key Identifying Features:

  • Model: Based on the M800 chassis (M810).

  • Material: Transparent, deep blue resin (demonstrator).

  • Trim: Gold-plated.

  • Logo: Two-chick Pelikan logo on the cap top (older style).

  • Piston Knob: Features a distinctive gold medallion with an engraved compass rose.

  • Nib: 18k two-toned gold nib, in medium width with original factory sticker still present.

This pen is used but in good condition, with no cracks or damage but some wear and microscratches.
