Pelikan M600 Burgundy fountain pen 18k medium nib

£220.00
Sold Out

The features of this stylish Pelikan M600 in burgundy and gold identify it as a pen that dates from 1990-1997.

The burgundy model was introduced in 1989, but the two-tone 18C nib was not introduced until 1990. This pen is the older style M600, with 1 thick and 1 thin cap band, and a single gold band near the piston knob. It also has the outline 2 chick Pelikan logo on the cap top, and these features were changed in 1997.

The pen is in good vintage condition, but does show signs of use including micro scratches (as to be expected) and a very small ink stain to the ink window (which remains very transparent).

The piston filler mechanism operates as it should.

The nib is medium width, and is slightly springy but not flexible. It writes smoothly.
