Parker Duofold International Fountain Pen - Green Marble

£149.99
Sold Out

Parker Pens started selling the first generation of Parker Duofold Centennial fountain pens in 1988. In 1989, Parker introduced the slightly smaller (in length and girth) but equally high quality International model, made in the UK. The first generation was replaced by the second generation in 1996, the most noticeable difference being the change in cap bands from one thick and one thin to two thick cap rings. The modern Duofold range of pens are great quality, good value, and with a significant number of pleasing variants, are great to collect.

This is a wonderful International in the green marble colour way, with 1 thick and 1 thin cap band, showing this is a first generation Duofold. The green marble colour was introduced in 1992. This pen has a date code of iiiI at the end of the barrel suggesting a 1994 manufacture.

The nib is a stunning 18k arrow design, in medium width - a smooth writer.

The pen is used (It was my daily writer for a short while) but remains in good used condition.

The pen is a cartridge converter filler (not supplied).
