I am always impressed but the generation 1 and 2 modern Parker Duofold and this one is no exception.
This Parker Duofold International is in the “chocolate pinstripe” colour and very elegant it is too, with off white and turquoise pinstripes.
The pen has a smooth 18k medium nib. The pen comes with a converter and the original box for cartridges of which there are a couple left.
This is a special edition pen from 2004.
Most impressively the pen comes in a very heavy wooden case which resembles a drawer. It is covered in a black velvet material. The drawer is a shiny mock walnut or similar wood. Open the drawer and you will find a 1 pen tray where the Duofold resides. You can flip the tray over and find slots for 4 pens if you want to use the drawer to store more (highly recommended!!). As well as the cartridge box, there is a boxed set of cards and instructions fitted to the lower tray. To top it all, there is a matching cloth to lay over the pen in the drawer to keep it safe. Wow!
