A very special and rare pen! This is an original OMAS fountain pen, a special edition of 327 or which this pen is number 247.
The design is the Ogvia model, with the expected roller clip, and cigar shape. However this pen is yellow and a demonstrator and is part of the “Cocktail” series of pens introduced in 1995 to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of OMAS, a fantastic Italian pen manufacture which sadly went out of business (albeit the brand has since be revived - but this is an original!).
The pen is a piston filler which operates correctly. The pen has chrome trim in good condition, but sadly, there is some minor staining of the barrel.
The nib is an awesome 18k rhodium plated solid gold nib, in broad width.
The pen is presented in original inner and outer boxes, and the shade OMAS pen sleeve is also included.
