Released in 2003 as a tribute to the "Father of Science Fiction," the Montblanc Jules Verne Limited Edition is one of the most visually captivating releases in the prestigious Writers Edition series. Design: The barrel and cap are encased in a brilliant vibrant blue lacquer applied over a precision guilloché wave pattern. The effect creates a shimmering, three-dimensional depth that mimics the undulating surface of the ocean All fittings, including the sleek, architectural clip, are finished in high-polish platinum plating, providing a cool, modern contrast to the deep maritime blue.
18k Gold Nib: The 18k gold nib, rhodium-plated for a seamless silver look. It features a bespoke engraving of a vintage diver’s helmet, a nod to Captain Nemo’s underwater expeditions. It is a smooth writing medium width
Limited edition: Jules Verne’s elegant signature is finely engraved into the side of the cap, while each piece bears its limited edition number, marking its place among the 18,500 fountain pens ever produced. The number on this pen matches the dealer stamped warranty card and the outer cardboard box.
The pen is in excellent overall condition, in particular the blue guilloché finish is undamaged.
The pen is presented in outer card board box, inner book box and with papers. Sadly the outer box does have a couple of small tears from use.
