Montblanc Writers Edition Fountain Pen - Cervantes
For sale is one of my favourite Montblanc pens - the limited edition Montblanc Writers edition Miguel De Cervantes fountain pen. Released in 2005, the pen is a tribute to the Spanish author of Don Quixote. It is a limited edition with 17,000 fountain pens produced worldwide.
Body & Material: The barrel is made of brown marbled lacquer (or precious resin) with ivory-toned accents, evoking the earthy landscapes of La Mancha.
Unique Shape: The pen has a distinct swirling, tapering design inspired by windmills. The clip also tapers, symbolizing the contrasting characters of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza.
The Nib: A handcrafted yellow 18K gold (750) nib featuring a delicate engraving of a windmill, in a medium width (and this pen still has the sticker to prove it!!)
Signature: Cervantes' signature is embellished on the cap.
Edition Number: This model features the edition number (e.g., 12345/17000) engraved on the cap ring rather than a standard serial number on the clip.
Filling: this is a pesto filling pen (bottled ink only) which works perfectly.
This pen is used, and the are tiny signs of this, but no cracks, no dings, no major scratches. There is no box with this pen.
