Montblanc 22 Vintage Fountain Pen - OBB nib!

£134.99
sold out

This Montblanc 22 fountain pen dates from around 1960-1970’s. They were introduced around 1959, along with the 1x and 3x models, to replace the 144/146/149. The 1x models were the Meisterstuck, and the 2x (including the 22) were the second tier models.

This is a very nice example of the 22, in black and gold coloured trim. As is usual on this pen there are signs of use present including micro scratches and some wear to the trim, the clip especially.

The piston filler works fine.

The reason to buy this pen is the nib! A huge double broad oblique (sloped right to left like the toes of a left foot). Lots potential for writing fun with this nib!
