A new Montblanc 149 fountain pen retails for around £1,000. On that basis, I think this pre-loved Montblanc 149 in box, with the ink bottle represents excellent value for money (cheap even?!).
This pen is in the iconic black, with gold coloured trim, and the Montblanc star atop the cap.
It is a piston filler, and this works perfectly.
The 18k trim-colour nib writes a smooth, I think Fine, line.
The trim and pen are in good condition.
