Montblanc 149 fountain pen - 18k trim tone medium nib

£281.99
Sold Out

if you are reading this, then you will likely already know about the iconic Montblanc 149 fountain pen.

This black precious resin and gold coloured trim pen is large size, although well balanced and not overly heavy.

This pen has a smooth writing 18k gold tri-colour nib in medium width, together with a late model plastic feed, which suggests a manufacture date of 1996 onwards.

This is a piston fill pen, and the piston works as it should. The pen has brass piston threads.

As is typical, micro scratches/signs of wear and tear are present, but note it has a blemish to a tiny part of the ink window (which does not impede use) and some gouges to the piston filler knob. I have tried to photograph these, but please feel free to ask questions before you purchase. this is not a pen for collectors of mint pens, but if you want a solid every day carry pen, then this is a competitively priced option.
