This fantastic limited edition Leonardo fountain pen, made exclusively for Stilo Fetti in Rome, is limited edition #87/100.
Stilofetti have made 4 of the Kings of Rome limited edition pens. This is the Anco Marzio version, handcrafted in 'Noce Daniele' wood, to recall achievements of Anco Marzio in constructing the Sublicio bridge and the first Roman ships. The pen has a striking section of orange, red and black resin, contrasting with the wood barrel, and a cap lip of the same resin. The gold coloured roller clip and cap band (engraved Anco Marzio) complete the pen nicely. The barrel is imprinted with the limited edition number in roman numerals.
The nib is engraved 753 and is gold plated steel in a broad width, I think a #6 size.
The pen is a cartridge converter filler, but has a captive converter so that the pen does not have to be opened when filling with ink from a bottle.
The pen is in excellent condition, and presented with box and papers.
