This is an unusual modern pen. The pen is a Bexley Columbus Ohio 2001 fountain pen in Black with gold coloured trim. The maker, Bexley Pens in the USA no longer makes pens.
The rare and special part of this pen is that it is a sleeve filler, a system more usually seen on vintage pens. The back of the barrel is unscrewed to reveal a steel push bar which is pressed into a sac, a similar operation to a Parker 51 aero metric filler. This filler operates as it should. Only bottled ink can be used.
The pen is in good used condition.
The nib is a 14k medium bi-tome colour, and writes smoothly.
